We are located in the central city. Restaurants and shops are all within a few monutes walk. We also have a lovely park right next to the school. We are in a 3 level building including the ground floor. The building has a restaurant / cafe on the ground, our school on the first floor and a backpacker taking the rest of the space. Our school is a purpose built facility. All the classrooms open into our common area. The common area includes spaces to sit and relax, to prepare lunch and snacks, contact family and friends on our free school computers and areas to play pool and table tennis.

The full complement of buildings includes: general classrooms, two laboratories, art room, food technology room, three computer suites, music suite, library, technology suite, outdoor pursuits centre, overseas students centre, gymnasium, administration block and two student common rooms. The buildings are sited on seven hectares of playing fields, gardens and lawns. A twenty five metre indoor heated community pool is adjacent to the college grounds. In 2003 the college added a spacious new facility to accommodate Dance and Drama. The 'Multi-Purpose Room' was purpose built with a sprung floor, dance bar, mirrors, specialised lighting and sound systems. The room is available for public use and already community dance and drama groups are making use of the facility.

We have been teaching English since 1988 in Whitianga, on the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. Whitianga is a small rural, seaside town with many beautiful beaches nearby. We have a maximum number of 10 students in each class, a maximum of 50 students at our school, to keep a friendly family atmosphere. We offer many courses including Examination Preparation Classes to suit our students learning needs.
