The Sydney English Academy SEA is a small and friendly school (max 50 students) which has a very supportive and personal atmosphere. SEA has been independently owned and run since 2001 by Mick Edwards and Samantha Milton.
Our small class sizes (maximum 12 average of 9) means that teachers can provide students with a high level of personal attention allowing students to make rapid progress in their studies. SEA has an excellent nationality mix with 40% of students from Europe, 30 % from South America and 30% from Asia.
We offer Intensive General English courses and the Cambridge First Certificate Preparation Course. We also offer English plus Surfing and English plus Scuba Diving. Because of the schools beachside location these English plus Activities courses are conducted just a short walk from the school.
Manly has a village atmosphere in which students soon feel at home. It offers a great range of cultural and sporting activities such as surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving and bushwalking. The beach is only 100 metres from the school and all amenities are in easy reach. Manly is only a 15 minute jet-cat ride or 30 minutes by ferry from the centre of Sydney.
